2 Wish Upon A Star provides immediate bereavement support for families, individuals and professionals who have suddenly and traumatically lost a child or young adult aged 25 years and under. When a family loses a child or young adult the effects are devastating for all who knew and loved them. It is important that support is available if and when required. It is important families know that they are not alone and that the feelings they are experiencing are often normal.

I have been totally inspired by Rhian Mannings tireless fundraising efforts for 2wish and I’d love to join Rhian and the other 150+ in their 1,000 miles in 2022 challenge for this good cause but my arthritis says ‘no’.

So I am joining in with what I can do well. Starting on January 1st I will be hand making one greeting card in honour of each of the 970 families who 2wish have already supported. Sadly this number will rise through the year so I will be making one for each of those families devastated in 2022 also.

I have set up this Just Giving page for 2wish so that I can be sponsored and/or people can make donations and in return receive packs of greetings cards from me which I will post on my Facebook page with a link to the Just Giving page. 

Please help me raise some much needed funds to support these families.

If you have any special requests of what those cards should be,  i.e. Birthdays, Thank you’s, Christmas, Just because, Men’s cards etc etc. Just let me know and I’ll accommodate.
