On 17th May I will be walking 26 miles around St.Albans.  

50% of the funds I raise will go to Maple School PTA. Jack and Lewis will also be walking a 3K treasure hunt route around St.Albans the same day for the school - they are very excited about that! 

The other 50% of the funds I raise will go to Strathcarron Hospice in Scotland. My lovely dad passed away from cancer in Nov 2012. He died at home, surrounded by family - just the way he hoped for when he first found out he was terminal. 

The fact that this was possible was down to my amazing mum but also the wonderful people at Strathcarron Hospice who came out to the house to support Dad and made sure that Mum had all the support she needed to care for him.

Hospices do so much for families that you don't appreciate until you need them. They are amazing.

Whilst this page only shows a link to Maple PTA charity, we will ensure that 50% of what I raise goes to Strathcarron.
