I am taking part in the 3CCR sponsored ride on Sunday 01 June 2014 and cycling 50 miles in memory of Paul Burns, who sadly passed away 5 day's after participating in last year's 3CCR. Paul was a double amputee who was always raising money for BLESMA and I want to carry on in his footsteps & memory and raise money for this very worthy cause. BLESMA – The Limbless Veterans help all wounded servicemen and women who have lost limbs, the use of limbs or eyes, to rebuild their lives by providing rehabilitation activities and welfare support. Our programmes allow our men, women and their families to face the challenges ahead with renewed confidence and self-belief.

We believe in rehabilitation through sporting activities – there is life, new friendships and even sporting glory after amputation! Your support allows amputees to help other amputees and creates a fellowship of shared experiences; from our youngest member at 19 to our oldest at 99 – BLESMA is with them for life.
