I will be doing this firewalk in aid of Yorkhill Children's Foundation.  I will be walking 20 feet barefoot along hot embers.  If anyone would like to see me doing this, pop along to Yorkhill Hospital on 25th November at 10.15pm!  Could be a laugh!

I am doing this because Lewis' life has been saved so many times by Yorkhill Hospital and I want to give something back.  He was born with Exomphalos, a congenital heart condition called tetralogy of fallot, pyriform aperture stenosis and single incisor syndrome. My son simply would not be here today if it were not for this wonderful hospital.  Since he was born in March 2009, he has undergone 19 surgeries for various midline defects, a lot of them life threatening. He has had input from various specialities such as cardiology, general surgery, ENT, radiography, gastroenterology, endocrinology and genetics.   

Donating money will help this hospital to continue to save the lives of many other children.
