Story
The Christie charity is aiming to raise £23 million for the proposed construction of a new centre in Macclesfield where Christie patients will be able to receive outstanding cancer care, closer to home.
I have been on the Patient Experience Group since the plans for Christie Hospital Macclesfield started and have attended meetings from the beginning giving my input into the layout and any suggestions but I wasn't allowed to share it until it was granted.
Unfortunately, more people are being diagnosed with this awful disease so this amazing place will most definitely help towards treating people.
Please help me to support this what will be a fantastic building and hospital to treat cancer patients by donating a few quid for my birthday. As many of you know I usually raise at least £2000 at my rainbow88 birthday party with full capacity for local charities and this is the first time in 20 years I cannot do this. Gutted is not the word! But nothing stops me!
I still managed to find a way of contributing to society during lock down by cooking over 4000 meals in my little kitchen at home for the vulnerable, isolating, NHS staff and Key Workers so I have still been a good girl. Please donate, even if just £5 to help me continue my legacy. Every bit helps!
The Christie Hospital saved my life!
Stay healthy and safe!
