Story
I usually do a 100km walk around this time of year but sadly last year on the Transpennine walk I injured myself and have still not recovered enough to attempt that distance (either that or I'm lazy!)
I still wanted to do something for Macmillan Cancer Support so I thought a quick (!?!) 26 miles from Stonehenge to Avebury should be doable. Those who know me will know that I've just completed 14 years of my new life after having a brain tumour removed in June 2000.
Training is something that sounds like a good idea but not quite so in practice. Did 15 miles across the South Downs last month and spend most days on my feet anyway.
