This time last year I was really sick and ended up having emergency surgery.  I am so grateful to the NHS for getting me back on my feet and saving my life. I’m grateful to my family without whose support I would not have got through the past year. I’m grateful to Alder Hey who I work for - for being a fantastic employer and supporting me through my recovery. I am also grateful to the ladies from Formby Stormers for helping me get back to running. I never thought I’d be able to run again and here I am a year later running the 5K Santa Dash!! 

Alder Hey do amazing things every day for amazing people. I know that times are tough right now so it’s ok not to give. But if you have a bit of spare cash in your back pocket and feel able to - please help me raise a bit of money for this amazing hospital.
