Story
Well most of you know why I am doing this....this is a huge challenge for me but one I am determined to do. It is 2 years in September since I lost my beautiful son Josh to a motorbike accident. He was only 18 years old and had his whole life in front of him. Thanks to the Great North Air Ambulance Service we as a family got to spend the last precious 24hrs of life with Josh and got to tell him how much we loved him and say our final goodbyes.
Last year I had a charity night with entertainment, raffle and auction. Plus I had my head shaved. So this year it had to be something completely different and not what anybody would expect me to do. I don't do exercise....lol.....But I am now and after 30+ years I have quit smoking (Josh would have been so proud, as he hated me smoking).
GNAAS is a big part of our emergency service in Cumbria and is solely run on donations and fundraising, they get no help whatsoever from the government.
Even if you can only afford £1 then please could I ask you to donate. I would love to beat my head shave total from last year...which was £1300 approx.
Many thanks to everyone who has supported me over these difficult last couple of years and continue to support me and my 2 other sons (Matthew and Dan).
