Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As some of you may know (I may have mentioned it once or twice), Claire and I are entering the Novice event at the Cotswold Women Only Triathlon in June to raise money for the Brighter Futures Radiotherapy Appeal (which is aiming to raise 2.9 million pounds to build and equip a new Radiotherapy Centre in Swindon on the site at Great Western Hospital).

Whilst the running and biking disciplines should not be too scary, the open water swim is a different matter and we will both be completely out of our comfort zone and have to face our fears (fish, weed and swans not to mention the currently very cold water)!!  We have a lesson in the lake coming up soon so will keep you posted on our progress.

Any donations would be gratefully received and will help make a huge difference to those who currently have to travel to Oxford and beyond for their treatment.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
