Story
So as someone who is scared of heights my children have persuaded me to take part in the Highland swing.
Rigged in a full body harness I will quick release from above, dropping into a free fall of around 50 feet before the rope takes the slack and i will accelerate through a 165ft arc under the bungee platform at Killiecrankie.
The Pass of Killiecrankie is a magnificent wooded gorge with the River Garry flowing along its base and I'll literally be swinging into the history of it all in this adrenaline fueled fundraising
Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBH Scotland) believe no one in Scotland should be left alone to cope with the affects of spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus. For over 50 years they have been the only Scottish charity with a sole remit to support those affected by these rare, complex disabilities. With little statutory funding they have to raise over £1million annually and because of Coronavirus this year the fundraising challenge just got a whole lot harder! They anticipate losing up to half of their income so we want to help as much as we can Every penny counts. Please help us!! 72p in every £1 spent goes directly into vital support services of babies, children, young people, adults and their families so all your donations will truly make a big difference. Thank you for helping save this great charity!
