Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

WHY on earth is this fat bird doing such a monsterous event I hear you mutter under your breath and the answer is simply that I have seen the effects cancer can have on a family, I have also seen the awesome work Macmillan do for these people and their families and I just wanted to do something that could help.  (And besides I'm now verging on the obese and thought it would be a cracking way to lose the flab!)

No, seriously this is something  I have wanted to do for such a long time and as I am (comparitively fit) and feel I can achieve this, BUT with your help!

I would like, at this stage to 'tip my hat' to all those nurses and doctors who work day in, day out working positively to find a cure or treat cancer sufferers.  Like the Marie Curie nurses, the surgeons and palliative care nurses.
