A Dementia Friends Ambassador is a voluntary role with the Alzheimer's society.  In this role I provide information sessions  for individuals, groups and organisations who wish to become dementia friends.  I am working with the local councillors in Bramley, Leeds to work towards becoming a dementia friends community.  I also campaign on behalf of the Alzheimer's society.  I am taking part in the memory walk in Leeds on 1 October 2022.  As most of you are aware my mother had vascular dementia.  I am a volunteer with Bramley Elderly Action and befriend a lady who has dementia.  Please donate to this worthy cause.
