My brother had a love of extreame sports and although we had lots in common, in this respect we were very different.  Which means that I am doing something totally crazy and out of my comfort zone to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity.  Team Bert are doing this in memory of Alan who died on duty at Shirley Towers in 2010.  The whole of Hampshire Fire and Rescue and the Fire Fighters Charity supported us over the past few years and we hope you can support us now to give something back.

The Fire Fighters Charity offers services that enhance quality of life for serving and retired fire fighters, fire personnel and their families.

The role of a fire fighter is one of bravery, loyalty and devotion to public service. Just like fire fighters, this charity is passionate about their work and the services they provide to the men and women who risk their lives to save ours.
