I was diagnosed with Mulitple Sclerosis over 11 years ago. Although my left side was weak, and i got tired easily, things weren't too bad. Gradually my symptoms have got worse, so that now my walking is limited, my vision, waterworks, arm strength, memory and cognition, and even swallowing are now affected.

I do volunteer work for the MS Society, and know how any money raised is put to good use. Helping to buy equipment, or pay towards Respite breaks for people, putting on events for those newly diagnosed, and helping to make life a little easier for people like myself in Staffordshire.

I am proud that my 14 year old son, Joe is also doing the Abseil with me. Well done Joe !!!
