Limbcare is a charity formed by Ray Edwards MBE to support amputees in their time of need. Losing a limb is a traumatic experience in itself but losing multiple limbs can be devastating.

Ray is the longest surviving quad amputee in the UK and knows what it takes to endure the experience and yet remain (mostly!) a positive and supportive person with the capacity to help others. He attends the Bracknell BNI business group and can only do this with massive support from his wife Fiona. Just spend a few seconds thinking about what is required to get a quad amputee to a breakfast meeting at 7:00 am!

The Limbcare Well Being garden at the Hampton Court Flower Show 2018 is an example of Ray's determination to get things done and is a step on the way to a much larger ambition of building a dedicated "Well Being Centre" to help trauma patients come to terms with their disability, along with helping and supporting their families and friends. Family support is particularly important because they are vital in the practicalities of daily life. Ray often mentions that Fiona has to 'put him together' in the morning just so he can start his day.
