Story

Hi everyone,

Welcome to our LHS fundraising page.

This year we are supporting current pupils Ellie (Year8) and Harry (Year10) Smyth in their amazing fundraising for Air Ambulance. In 2019 their father was killed in a road traffic accident. Air Ambulance were on the scene and despite their best efforts unfortunately Mr Smyth passed away. Air Ambulance were a great help and support to the family through this difficult time. Since 2019 Ellie, Harry and their mother Caroline have organised many fundraising events and have raised tens of thousands of pounds for Air Ambulance. Recently, Harry and Ellie have received awards for their amazing charity work and their mum Caroline also received an award for "Mother of the year". I think you will all agree that their amazing family deserves our support.

10 members members of staff (Mrs A Dillon, Mrs C Forrest, Miss A McLaughlin, Mrs R Hylands, Miss L Kerr, Miss Z Canning, Mr A Linton, Mr H Tate, Mr N Doherty and Mr K O'Neill) are taking part in the Belfast Marathon relay representing LHS  to support our two fantastic students in their fundraising for Air Ambulance.

It costs £5500 per day for Air Ambulance to be in service so please please donate generously.

Each donation will be rewarded with an entry into a draw for some fantastic prizes donated by local firms.

Donaghy Brothers: ASUS Laptop

JKC Car Sales : BMW Baby Racer

Roxborough Electrics: Bluetooth speaker and Soup Maker
