Story

My name is Lily, I am 7 years old and I have cerebral palsy and autism. To support Haven House Children Hospice's 24/7 care campaign, I am attempting to raise a huge £24,700 for them, which I hope that with your help we can achieve, or even get close to! :)

My Story : When i was 2, I was told I had diplegic cerebral palsy which means I would always struggle with my walking and would never walk 'normally'. I went on to have a number of appointments with different doctors, specialist physio's and many more who might be able to help.

My mum and dad are always looking into anything that might help me and heard of an operation called (SDR), so I went to Great Ormond Street Hospital to see if I was eligible for it, but unfortunately it would of been to much of a risk. Instead, I went on to having Botox in my legs and lots of intensive physio classes and after many years of this, a lot of determination and a lot of help from my family and friends I am now at my target and doing more things than the doctors ever thought I would! :)

This has made me feel really grateful and wanting to help others in the same way that I have been helped, so I thought I would use my disability to try and raise awareness to do something good and positive by walking to raise money for those that need it most.

I feel a very lucky girl to be where i am today and hope you will sponsor me to help others  :>)
