Story

Editing to add - I completed it! The full 21 miles 😁😁💙💙

I am attempting to swim the length of Loch Lomond - 21 miles (without a wetsuit!) on August 19th 2023 to remember Henry and raise money for an important youth-led charity that helps young men to talk about their emotions and seek help when they need it. This is an enormously important subject, with suicide still being the leading cause of death in young people, with men counting for over three times the number of deaths as females.

I think it is likely we all know someone who has been affected by mental health issues, especially after the last few years, and this has always been a topic so close to my heart. The loss of Henry has hit his friends and family so hard, and I want to do anything in my power to both honour his memory and help other young men in the future.

This is going to be an enormous challenge for me, so all your support, both financial and otherwise, is so appreciated.
