It seems like only yesterday I was sat here pledging for you to support me in raising money for The Meningitis Trust in honour of my brother, and after the amazing support I received last year, I need your overwhelming support again but this time for another charity close to my heart.

 

Me and 5 of my best friends, Rebecca, Victoria, Shelley, Hannah and Abigail are running this years marathon in a team effort to complete the hard work and pledge made by Rebecca's wonderful dad, Dave Gardiner in 2009.

I'm sad to say that I was never lucky enough to meet Dave, but through the stories and memories shared with me from all of Dave's lovely family I feel honoured to be running the London Marathon 2014 in his memory.

 

I can only thank you all for all of your amazing support last year, and I know it's cheeky but please, if you could, donate some pennies or pounds to the British Heart Foundation, a charity that I'm sure, is close to the hearts of many.

 

Dave, this is for you and your amazing family.
