Story
John was a loving, family man from Pennington & Lymington. He was a kind person who would help anyone and influenced many peoples lives.
Tragically, on the 11th of October this year he lost his life during a fire at his family home.
John’s family wish to honour his memory by raising money for The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, as they had a profound impact the end of John’s life.
The charity have flown 765 missions this year alone. It currently costs £15,000 a day to maintain the life saving service, and it is only thanks to the generosity of the communities that they serve, that they are able to keep the air ambulance flying and saving lives.
I have decided to hold a 10k walk in Lymington to raise money for this important charity and to celebrate/remember Johns life. We plan to meet at the Ferryman pub Lymington at 11:00am on Sunday 14th of November to begin the walking loop. Please spread the word… The more the merrier! It would be great to see as many local faces as possible.
Please donate whatever you can. Thank you.
