Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
I am going to be taking part in a Walk for 'MND' July 2nd (this summer!) with an amazing girl called Katie & her sister. I want to be a part of this amazing fundraiser as it is a charity very close to my heart. This will also be my first time doing anything like this and I'm very much looking forward to it. Last March I lost my Nana due to MND, and I have to say that it was and still is one of the hardest things I have ever been through. My nana was only diagnosed with MND back in May of 2020, when Covid was at its peak and we was all isolating to make sure that she was safe. She found out she had MND whilst she was in hospital which meant no one could go visit her and this broke my heart so much. Not being able to hold her hand after being given that kind of news, that is soul crushing. But my nana fought as hard as could. But in April 2021, (just short of year later) my beautiful queen gained her angels wings and lost the battle she faced everyday💔😭.
MND is a terrible, horrendous, nasty Disease and its hard to see your loved ones suffer this. My nana was such a proud, independent lady, she was my role model & so very strong, she would never ask for anything and didn't deserve this path in life. But knowing she's up their watching over me, I know that she would be so very proud of me doing this Walk of The Guild Wheel, in her honour. The guild Wheel is approximately 21 mile loop, and each step I take I know my nana will be by my side. So please if you would like to donate, even as little as £1.00 helps. But this is going to such an important cause and can help a lot of families suffering from this disease. We are in this together, And I'm doing this to be closer to my Nana. Thank you for taking your time to read this, and I appreciate any and all of the support you can give🙏🏼✨.
