Lockdown Local Land's End to John O'Groats Cycle · 29 April 2020

SeeSaw provides support to children, young people and their families when someone close to them is dying or has died. We have 25 years experience in providing high quality grief support to help reduce the emotional, psychological and mental health consequences of bereavement.

Story

Over the next few weeks, we will cycle locally (due to lockdown restrictions) the distance of 1083 miles, which is equivalent to the journey from Land's End to John O'Groats, for this special charity.

SeeSaw provides a grief support service for children, young people and their families anywhere in Oxfordshire, whether the death is sudden or expected, due to illness or accident, or for some other reason. SeeSaw believe that with appropriate and timely support, bereaved young people will be able to face the future with hope and fulfil their potential despite a devastating loss.

SeeSaw would have been celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The unexpected and unwelcome arrival of COVID-19 has brought to a halt all of SeeSaw's plans to mark this special year. Instead the charity needs urgent help to keep its vital service going. Please help SeeSaw and the children and families it supports at this terribly difficult time. Every penny will help bereaved children and young people whose worlds have been turned upside down because someone they loved has died.

 Thank you for your support.
