At first I was going to do the Plymouth Half Marathon for self personal achievement with a group of friends as it will be one of the most selflest things I've done so far and the longest I would of travelled on foot.

I became aware that other people were doing it for charity and I picked Cancer Research to be my charity as it is a cause worth supporting and because it is a cause that effects every family at some point as more than 1 in 3 people will develop some form of it in there lifetime which means on average someone is told they have cancer every 2 minutes and every 4 minutes someone will die.

I have family who have survived cancer but I have family who have died from it as well, I know it is a unkind thing and if I can raise a tenner than I will be happy for raising something.
