The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

Sobell House is Edgars chosen charity, it is local to our Oxford area and provides an amazing service offering specialist palliative care to those facing life threatening illness, death and bereavement in Oxfordshire.

A link to the services and the importance it offers to families is highlighted in this film.

Sobell House faces significant challenges at this difficult time, in terms of providing this valuable end of life care and their reduced ability to raise money through their shops and with sporting events such as the London Marathon being cancelled.

As a business Edgars likes to work closely with Sobell House, and now they need our support more than ever. We have each set up an individual page, linked to the Edgars 2.6 Challenge and have set individual targets to reach our overall goal as a business.

My bike ride will take place this weekend (2nd or 3rd May) - weather permitting!

Please donate whatever you can, the small amounts soon add up and are all welcome.

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
