Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The staff at the Christie helped my dear brother Neil live an active life after being diagnosed with cancer. Neil continued to work, go to concerts and see friends and family whilst undergoing chemotherapy. He had every faith in their care and support and I am grateful to them for helping to prolong his active life.

It is hugely fitting for me to be running (sorry walking) in his memory as Neil was a first class athlete and he encouraged me to join the sport. I have many memories of Neil standing by the track side willing me to go faster and I have included a couple of grainy local newspaper cuttings of that time.
