In 2016 my dad James, had cancer.  I was 3 and my sister was 2.  At the time I didn't know what was happening as I was only young, but we had to visit my dad in the hospital because he had to stay there for a long time.

When he came home he had a big scar and told us not to be scared and that everything will be ok.  He would always speak to people from Macmillan Cancer Support when we would go back to the hospital and he would feel better.

I am 7 now and play basketball (www.instagram.com/joshua_trk11) like my dad and I wanted to say thank you to the people that helped my dad and my family to beat cancer.  So we are organising a basketball event in our local community and would like to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support too.

The Lil Joshua u12 Charity Invitational 3x3 Basketball Tournament is a FREE event for children under 12 to share in the sport me and my dad love to play and help keep kids active.

Due to the recent coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Lil Joshua Charity Invitational has officially been postponed until further notice.

It is expected that this event will take place later in the year (2020) in order to fulfil our commitment to provide a FREE event and opportunity for U12s - taking part in a 3x3 tournament which until now has not been readily available to this age group.
