When she returned to Ireland in the 1990s, Mama studied for a diploma in child psychology. For over 8 years she was an ISPCC volunteer working at a local after school project and also supported the ISPCC with their fundraising efforts. She was committed to the charity and gave generously herself. We know that Mama would prefer donations to this cause, which was so close to her heart than to have flowers on her grave - this gift would be enduring and would help the children she cared for so much to blossom and bloom and continue to do so.
