Story
Hi All,
Between the 17th – 23rd June I’ll be cycling from Cape Wrath, on the northern coast of Scotland, to Hunstanton, Norfolk. A total of 746 miles, lighthouse to lighthouse (hence the name) in 7 days, averaging 107 miles a day!
I will be riding in memory of my Grandma, who sadly passed
away from pancreatic cancer last year, and in aid of the Leicester Pancreatic & Liver (HPB) Cancer Unit and Leicester Hospitals Charity.
The final leg will be joining up with friends and family at the
annual Charity Bike Ride from Leicester to Hunstanton on the 23rd
June. A fantastic event which raised over £40,000 last year!
Pancreatic cancer is a devastating disease that affects up to 8,000 people each year in the UK; it’s the 4th commonest fatal cancer in the
UK with a worse survival rate than any other cancer. All money raised will go towards vital research into the causes and treatments of this cancer, a worthy cause I’m sure you’ll agree.
Training is in full flow and any donations would be greatly
appreciated!
Many Thanks
Ed & The Price Family.
