Losing a a baby is an incredibly isolating and lonely experience. When we were told Leo had died - we couldn’t imagine how we could move forward, and certainly didn’t think anyone could understand the pain we were in.

We had so much amazing support from the hospital and various charities. One of those was Aching Arms.

We were given a Teddy Bear that had a simple tag…’From Charlie’.

Aching Arms support grieving parents by reminding them they are not alone. They give parents a bear from another family, and a second bear, with Leo’s name on it will be passed forward to future family.

A small gesture, that made a big difference.
