Woking & Sam Beare Hospices is a charity that cares for over 2,000 patients and their carers and families each year. They specialise in delivering holistic care for patients with progressive advanced conditions that are life limiting. The hospice’s care is delivered in the community in patient homes, in care or nursing homes or through its in-patient ward in the hospice. This is a really important fund as the hospice relies on donations and private donations such as this fund-raiser account for 80% of their funds.
