Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 25th April, Juliet and Sue are intending to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.

The abseil is being done in memory of Juliet's husband/Sue's friend, Nigel Legg who died of a brain tumour in 2012.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of UK children and yet brain tumour research receives less than 1% of national cancer research spending in the UK. Every bit we raise helps.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for donating.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
