I am Sophie Alagna, professionally known as Sophie Daniels and working under the artist name 'Liberty's Mother'. Liberty was my daughter who died the day before she was born and was stillborn on January 7th 2011. Liberty's Mother is a not-for profit music campaign raising money for charity, and awareness about baby loss. For more info about our story and the music, see further down in the story

I and the other members of the Liberty's Mother team, are undertaking personal wellbeing challenges to raise money for Tommy's as part of #30dayfeb. I am doing a hot yoga class every day for 30 days in a row, starting on 1st February and ending on 1st March.
In the yoga world this is known as a '30 day challenge'. I first took the challenge about 8 weeks after Liberty's death, 9 years ago. I am now ready to try again, to raise money to save babies lives in 2020. I am grateful for all donations, however big or small, as sponsorship for the challenge.
My team are each under taking their own challenges including; gym, yoga, running, press up challenges and even giving up alcohol. Each person will complete 30 days in a row starting 1st Feb and will also post their achievements and sponsorship money raised here.
All money raised goes to Tommy's the baby charity who are working effectively through research to find out about and ultimately end the causes of stillbirth and miscarriage - many of which are preventable. in the UK 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in a loss. If you have not suffered a loss yourself, one of your family or close friends has. Many of the causes are preventable in 2020 and there has never been a better time to work together to end the suffering and save future children who, like my daughter Liberty, deserve(d) their chance at life.

We are releasing this EP to share it with anyone who has an interest in Baby Loss or indeed Loss of any sort, and might relate to the songs message and draw comfort from it. There is very little art; (such as poetry or song or suchlike), to report on how it feels to lose your child and particularly your baby, and I am happy to be able to create this record in order to share something about those feelings.
