We provide grants, support and fundraising to adapt the homes of UK disabled children

Story

We are raising funds to help towards vital house adaptations for our daughter Libby. Libby has a rare muscle condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy which means she cannot stand alone or walk. Libby requires a ground floor bedroom and wetroom to provide her with a safe and accessible home which is essential for her independance and future. Within both rooms specialist equipment is required to assist with simple day to day routines.

Libby is a happy bright girl who doesn't let anything get in her way and she makes her dad and myself incredibly proud every single day. Libby is a very determined individual and tries her hardest to maintain her independence where possible.

Unfortunately Libby's future is uncertain and her condition can cause her health to deteriorate and leave her with breathing problems, difficuties with eating, possible upper body weakness as well as being wheelchair bound. As parents we want to assure she is cared for and provided with everything she requires to live as much of a normal life as possible.
