Libby Umney is raising money for Weston Park Hospital Development Fund
In memory of Richard Pover
Story
Richard Pover, known as Po, died on June 13th 2013, after a 19 month battle with cancer. He was a great friend of mine and an inspiration to everyone who knew him.
He was so brave and he lived his life to the full until the end- going out and having fun with us all, in and out of treatments at Western Park hospital.
A dozen of us would like to raise money for Western Park hospital which provided him with such great care and support throughout his battle with cancer. We are going to walk from Sheffield where we all met Po, to Tarporley in Cheshire, which was his home town. It is 62 miles and we are going to do it in 24 hours.
