Story

I'm completing an Ironwoman this September for Refuge, who on any given day support thousands of women and children who are survivors of domestic abuse.

The Challenge is to complete during September:

Swim: 2.4 miles (3.9km)

Bike: 112 miles (180.2km)

Run: 26.2 miles (42.2km)

Donating just £10 could provide a woman arriving at a Refuge with the support she needs for her first night. £52 could fund her and her children's stay. £185 could fund the running of the Helpline for an hour. £500 could run one of our refuges for one day. This September, we are hoping to raise £95,000 together. Every £1 counts!

Together we can make an impact to survivors of domestic abuse.

Thank you for your support.

Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in West London in 1971. We support thousands of women & children every day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.
