Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Manchester 10k for the second year running and I am hoping to beat last years time of 56mins 32secs!

I am running in memory of my brothers friend, Martyn Lee who passed away suddenly, just before his 18th birthday in June 2011.  All donations will go to the Martyn Lee memorial fund held with the charity CRY.  Cardiac Risk in the Young was founded in 1995 to raise awareness of conditions that can lead to young sudden cardiac death.

Wish me luck! All donations no matter how big or small are hugely appreciated to raise money in memory of Martyn and to support a fantastic charity!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you very much...now where's my trainers?! :-D

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
