Ronald McDonald Evelina House supported myself and my family when our daughter was born with a congenital heart defect. We will always be truly grateful for all the help and support we received during the 3 stays, especially during the surgery admission.

Its a stressful and emotional time for any parent to have to go through a childs illness but to be miles from home, family and friends makes this all the more difficult. Ronald McDonald house opened their doors to us, providing a roof over our head and a bed to come back to after long hours in hospital. It might not seem much but trust me it makes a real difference. It allows us to concentrate our worry on our daughter and they take care of everything else. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and to get ‘home’ to caring supportive faces, food and bed makes huge differences. Ronald McDonald became our surrogate family and I’ll never be able to show enough gratitude to them. We will never forget what they did for us.

I’m doing this for them to not only say thanks but more importantly, by supporting them we can make sure that they can continue to privide other families with the support when they need it the most.

We were provided with personal items, snacks and meals (provided from local companies). After a long day at the hospital we was always given the time by the lovely staff. Please dig deep to help us hit our target.
