In May 2013 my family were delivered the tragic news that my cousin had lost his life, he was 27 years old.  He had lived with type 1 diabetes for 10 years. At the time he was studying History at York University and as always, loving life and embracing anyone he met. To say he had a wicked sense of humor is an understatement! He was wonderful in every way and is sorely missed by all he knew. 

I have commenced my training with a 10K achievement in  Blackpool this summer and cant wait to continue for this great cause!
