My Story
After my Father died in 2007 from Pancreatic Cancer I got into running. I had the opportunity to run the London marathon twice through charity entries. I always said that when I get a slot myself I would run for a Pancreatic Cancer Charity. After 10 attempts I got a ballot slot and my chance to run my third London Marathon. This means that every penny raised goes to PCA and they don't have to cover my entry fees.
Running has changed my life and I want to raise as much money as possible for PCA to allow better early detection so that they can change or save others lives. Early detection may well have saved my Dad's life, unfortunately his Pancreatic Cancer was misdiagnosed for months until it was too late for any intervention.
