Story
In January 2021, I started to have tests as I was becoming
unwell. Initially, I put this down to being overworked during Christmas and
being stressed. However, further tests in April showed I had Lymphoma which
required treatment.
After having chemotherapy at Halton Hospital, I was referred
to the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre for a Stem Cell Transplant procedure. Seven
months later, I can happily say I am fully recovered and in full remission.
On Saturday 17 September, my Dad and I will be taking part
in a sponsored climb up Snowdon to raise money for the Clatterbridge Cancer
Charity. All the money raised will go towards helping the charity support
patients, invest in new experimental treatments and innovations across
Clatterbridges Hospitals.
