Story

I am a currently serving soldier in the Army and I plan to do the London marathon whilst carrying 30 kg in weight on my back.

My nan has had breast cancer twice, and I have lost two friends to other cancers, most recently my old Sgt. Major. It has left a devastating effect on the people who knew and loved them.

Against Breast Cancer provides money for important cancer research, as well as supporting sufferers and their families. To put it into perspective, a microscope costs £1600 and 2000 petri dishes cost £240 - this is just a tiny fraction of the equipment needed by those working towards a cure.

I will need to do a lot of training ahead of the marathon to achieve this, it will be no small feat for me! Though it will be nothing compared to those suffering from cancer every day.

Whilst i'm putting in the effort, please help Against Breast Cancer by donating on my page. Every penny counts (but pounds would be better...)

Thank you.
