Story
Hi, Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A few of you may already know why i'm running the Great North Run but here is an explanation for those of you who don't.
In Oct 11' my brother became a Dad to the beautiful Niamh, she was perfect but she was born with Hirschsprung's disease which meant she had to spend time in hospital for a prolonged period due to operations. While she was in hospital Crawford house at the RVI gave my brother and Siobhan a place to stay near the hospital so they could be with their daughter longer and get to her quicker should anything have happened. Crawford house is ran by the Sick Childrens Trust and helps so many families by enabling them to stay close to their child when they have to spend time in hospital.
Unfortunately, a week before Niamh's 1st birthday we were devastated by the sudden death of Niamh. She was a fighter, never complained and always had a smile on her face. She is the reason why i'm running the Great North Run for the Sick Childrens Trust so they can keep supporting parents whose children are in hospital by giving them a place to stay for as long as they need for free so they can focus all of their attention and worries on the most important person in their life.
I'm trying to raise £250 so please donate as much as you can.
Thanks.
