Story
Simply put: my Mum brought me up.
In 2017, my Mum announced that she had breast cancer at the ripe age of 62. This was not influenced by particular life-choices and couldn't have been less-deserved by such a selfless individual.
She used Maggie's (Cheltenham) during her cancer treatment who offered her not only emotional support, but also the opportunity to engage with other affected individuals in a secure and openly frank setting. Because of Maggie's, the will to survive never lost my Mum and when we lose our will, we've already lost the fight.
Coupled with miraculous interventions from modern-day science, Maggie's are one of the unsung heroes in a network of enablers that provide the help that humans need to survive.
That is why I'm doing this to raise both awareness and support to this amazing and crucial charity.
