I am taking the ben nevis challenge on the 29th June 2013 and this is for two reasons.

The first reason is that Macmillan cancer nurses do a fantastic job throughout the UK, and in particular with my Dad who died of pancreatic cancer in April 2012. For 6 months they helped him have a stable and dignified existence and also helped my Mum and took a lot of time out to comfort her and help with form and procedures during my Dads care.

Secondly I would like to do it for the memory of my Dad Denis Flanagan.
