Join us on the Sunday 1 May 2022 for Big Fun Walk, North London Hospice's flagship fundraiser! Over the past 20 years, our iconic walk has become one of our most loved and talked about events, raising over £1million for our vital services.
Story
This year, I am going to be taking on the Big Fun Walk! I will be walking 8.5 miles to help spread awareness and raise funds for North London Hospice.
Every pound raised helps the hospice's care teams to provide the best quality palliative and end of life care and support for patients and families living with a life limiting illness.
This annual event is so important because all the services the hospice offers are provided completely free. With only 40% of funding coming from the NHS, they rely on donations from the community to raise £13million each year.
I would be so grateful for donations of any amount:
£10 could pay for the cost of a nurse to visit a patient in their own home
£50 could help the hospices Out of Hours Service to urgently care for a person at night who is living in the community.
£125 could fund a specialist nurse for one day, ensuring they can provide compassionate end of life care on the hospice
Thank you for your support.
