Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I am raising money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the Countess Hospital, situated in Chester.

The Neonatal Care Unit specialises in the care of ill or premature newborn infants, and although I was only asked to run the London Marathon a few weeks ago, it would be amazing if I could reach my target of £2,000!

Over the next few weeks, I will be training wholeheartedly in order to complete the marathon in under a personal 4 hour target (if possible).

As well as the marathon, I have organised two back-packing days, in Tesco's as an extra help toward raising funds for this worthy cause.

The money that I raise will be for generally improving the Neonatal Unit and to provide funding for new incubators, etc.

Statistics show that roughly one in eight newborn babies will need extra care in hospitals, after birth. So PLEASE, it would be great if you could show some support. Every penny counts!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you, very much.
