We are a group of woman trekking the Lares trail in Peru in April 2022, in aid of Maggies Centres, with Machu Picchu being our final destination. The idea came from Debbie who, when she was waking up from surgery for cancer told the nurse ' I'm going to Peru'!. Debbie has gathered in a group of us to join her in her journey. Most of us have had their own cancer journey, or have had people close to us who have suffered. Maggies Centres provide such important service to people with cancer and their families. They are reliant on donations, and we would like to give something back by raising £25,000, .
