This fantastic 10 mile race has been going on for several years but last year Barnes Runners agreed to run, not only to raise money for their club, but to raise money for the BCA Christmas Lunch.  The Christmas Lunch is organised every year by the BCA to ensure that no one in the local community need be on their own on Christmas Day.  In addition this year the money will also support the BCA Defibrillator project.  This year the BCA installed a defibrillator outside Essex House surgery and a second one is currently being put into the phone box outside Olympic Studios.

The BCA are incredibly grateful to the Barnes Runners for this event.

Following last years hugely successful run, the Turkeys will be out in force again running along the towpath on Sunday 2nd December.  All participants will receive a medal and the Coach & Horses is providing a free pint and turkey bap afterwards for all the runners.
