Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 22 April 2012 I ran the London Marathon in aid of the ME Association. I completed it in 5 hours 5 mins (and 26 secs!). It was knackering but worth every 5am training session and every early night.
My mother has had ME for the past 28 years and like many others has been helped by the ME association throughout this time.
The ME association is in constant need of funds and any money you donate will help to fund their research into the disease, support the helplines they run and the information they provide.
ME, also known as CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) affects an estimated 250,000 men, women and children in Britain. There is currently no accepted cure and no universally effective treatment which means that further research into the causes and treatments of this debilitating illness is so incredibly important.
Whatever sum of money you are able to donate, I know the ME association will be immensely grateful and put it to good use.
