Story

This cause is personally close to my heart for a few reasons. It's important to me to raise as much money and awareness as possible for anyone who has suffered or is continuing to suffer trauma through sexual assault, domestic violence and abuse. I know how hard it is to speak out, but you're not alone.

I'm part of an amazing group of 20 TeamBreakthrough runners this year, helping to raise awareness for mental health and the impact of trauma and abuse. 1 in 5 of us experience trauma, childhood abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, abuse and other traumas during their lifetime. Breakthrough are a UK charity that supports adults of trauma and abuse providing specialist therapy, support & wellbeing services; crisis support; groups; and mental health courses. Each donation helps!
